First, we are going to start out with a little advice.
When you’re picking a delicious option from your coffee shop menu, you’ll want to avoid those with excessive amounts of caffeine or carbonation because these can aggravate your symptoms. You’ll also want to make sure you’re drinking a lot of water because dehydration can make your cramps much worse. Also, during your period week, try a milk substitute instead of milk or cream because dairy can actually cause bloating and gas, and make period cramps worse!
So… let’s get on to the period approved drink menu! While it’s BEST to make these drinks at home with all-natural, healthy ingredients, if you’re out with friends, these are a good choice as an alternative to the caffeine-packed, dairy-heavy choice that you would enjoy at a different time of the month!
