How does Pixie Pulse work?
Pixie Pulse is a TENS unit (Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation). Pixie Pulse uses a small electrical current through two (gel-covered) pulse pads placed over nerve roots that supply the sensory fibers to the uterus and lower back. Once in place, the stimulation prevents pain signals from traveling to the brain, causing the muscles in the uterine area to relax and resulting in a calming, analgesic effect.

How long is the battery life?
A fully charged battery will last for a maximum of 10-12 hours, and it will take about 1 hour and 30 minutes to fully recharge

How long do the gel pads stick?
We estimate that each set will last approximately 8-10 uses when properly used, stored, and cared for. To extend the stickiness of the Gel Pads, ensure that your skin is clean and dry. This includes being free of oily substances such as lotion or shave cream.

Can I sleep with Pixie Pulse on?
Yes! We actually recommend using the Pixie Pulse device while sleeping.
Can I use Pixie Pulse while I am pregnant?
Do NOT use Pixie Pulse before 37 weeks of pregnancy, and please speak with your care provider if you are pregnant and want to use this.
Can I use the Pixie Pulse postpartum?
Yes, Pixie Pulse can be used postpartum; however, we recommend speaking with your care provider before using it.
Will Pixie Pulse cause fertility issues?
No, Pixie Pulse doesn’t cause any issues with fertility. You can absolutely use this device while trying to conceive; however, we don’t recommend use after conception.
Where can I use Pixie Pulse?
Pixie Pulse is designed to relieve your lower abdomen and lower back.
Do not apply Pulse Pads to your chest region. The induction of electrical current could cause rhythm disruption to your heart, which could be deadly. Do not apply Pulse Pads to your thorax. The electrical current may increase your risk of cardiac arrest. Do not apply Pulse Pads anywhere on your head. This includes directly over the eyes, covering the mouth, or on the front of the neck (especially the carotid sinus). Do not apply on the upper back crossing over the heart.
